Annual Wellness ExamOur pets age five to seven years for every one of ours, making yearly physicals even more necessary than our own. Our veterinarian strongly recommends annual vaccinations and annual wellness examinations to ensure that your pet receives the best preventative medicine. Annual exams help to ensure that health problems are caught and addressed early. Our Healthy Adult Diagnostic Package is available in addition to your pet's annual vaccine appointment and includes a Complete Blood Count, Basic Metabolic Panel, Heartworm Test or FelV/FIV Test, and Intestinal Parasite Check for $150 (a $245 value). Urine and a poop sample are required to be brought to the appointment for the Urinalysis and Intestinal Parasite Check to be preformed.

HT Vista Cancer ScreeningHT Vista uses heat diffusion imaging (HDI), an artificial-intelligence algorithm that recognizes cancerous cells by their unique heat-flow properties. The patented technology was developed by experts in AI, thermodynamics, oncology and radiology. When HT Vista’s handpiece is applied to a suspicious lump, HDI initiates a dynamic image recording of thermal signals to measure heat diffusion and compare them to surrounding tissue. An algorithm analyzes the results and classifies the lump as malignant or benign. The results are delivered immediately on a 1-to-10 scale. One to 4 means further diagnostics are necessary, while 5 to 10 indicates that the mass is benign, with a 98% negative predictive value. This non-invasive screening starts at $150 for the first mass, then $25 for each additional mass.

Diagnostic and Laboratory ServicesOur in-house laboratory and ultrasound equipment allows us to quickly and thoroughly evaluate your pet's health. Our in-house laboratory allows us to have results of many blood tests in less than an hour for critically ill or injured pets. For more in-depth or routine testing, we use an outside laboratory that can often have results to us in 24 hours or less.

Surgical ServicesOur surgical suite is equipped with the most up to date anesthesia, surgical, and monitoring equipment to ensure your pet's safety and comfort. All animals undergoing surgery have their blood pressure, heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and end tidal CO₂ monitored throughout the procedure. Our doctor believes strongly in providing pain management before, during, and after the procedure. Our surgical services include spay/neutering, lacerations/abscesses, tumor removal, abdominal surgery, ear and eye surgeries, reproductive, oral/periodontal surgery. Laparoscopic SurgeriesLaparoscopic surgery is known as minimally invasive, or keyhole surgery. It involves 3 small 5-10 mm incisions being made into the body wall that then go into the abdomen. From there, multiple procedures can be preformed from liver biopsies to spays. A laparoscopic spay has many advantages over the traditional method, including faster recovery time, smaller incisions, fewer complications, and often less pain. A traditional spay requires a post-operative rest and recovery period of 10-14 days. With a laparoscopic spay, this is reduced to a rest period of only 3-5 days before normal activity levels can resume.

AnesthesiaWe utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety especially for our older or high-risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures.
|
Internal Medicine ConsultsWe offer referrals to an internal medicine specialist who performs ultrasounds, CT/MRIs, endoscopic procedures and helps us with the diagnosis of more complicated cases.
|
RadiologyOur on site state-of-the-art digital radiology equipment provides high quality x-rays to help our veterinarians evaluate muscular-skeletal, cardiovascular, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, reproductive, and urinary systems.

DentistryMaintaining good oral health can add years to your pet's life and can make their later years more comfortable and happy. Our dental services include oral/dental exam, cleaning, polishing and fluoride treatment, dental x-rays, extractions, and fracture repair. During an annual visit, the doctor will examine your pet's mouth for signs of early gum disease and point out areas of tartar build-up or decay. If you notice any of these warning signs, do not wait for the next annual visit; set up the appointment today.

MicrochippingIf your pet gets lost how do you find it? Microchipping has become a popular way to identify your pet should they go missing. Having a microchip greatly increases the chance that a shelter or vet can identify your pet by scanning for a microchip. The microchip is a small chip about the size of a small grain of rice. It is inserted into the scruff of your pet's neck. It contains a unique number which, when registered online, provides a reliable way of identifying the pet without the need for a collar. Microchipping is a simple and harmless procedure.
