We know how hard it is to cope with the loss of a pet,
so we're here for you during this devastating time.
At Boomer Vet, we understand that sometimes pets can take a sudden turn for the worse, making it difficult to know when it's time to say goodbye. We strive to accommodate same-day euthanasia appointments with just a few hours' notice, though we cannot always guarantee availability. For our established clients, we also offer in-home euthanasia services on a case-by-case basis, ensuring that your pet can pass peacefully in the comfort of your own home. Our compassionate team is here to support you through every step of this difficult decision, offering care and respect for both you and your beloved pet during their final moments. As a heartfelt keepsake, we provide a lock of your pet’s hair with every euthanasia service. This simple yet meaningful gesture allows you to carry a tangible memory of your beloved companion, honoring the special bond you shared. We also write your pet's name on our rainbow wall which is in our skylight and donate a tree to be planted in a national forest in your pet's memory.

New Patient Establishment Visit ($55-100)
Welcoming new patients is an essential part of the care we provide. This visit allows us to meet you and your pet, review their medical history, and establish a personalized care plan tailored to their unique needs. The fee for this visit also helps cover the time and effort our staff dedicates to collecting and reviewing your pet’s medical records, entering their information into our computer system, and verifying ownership. Whether your pet is young or senior, our goal is to create a foundation of trust and deliver exceptional veterinary care throughout their life. We’re here to support you and your pet every step of the way, providing compassionate and thorough attention at every visit. Note, we reduce this fee from $100 to $55 if you have already made the decision to euthanize your pet and do not want to discuss it.
Quality of Life Visit & Discussion for Established Patients ($55)
Our Quality of Life Visit is designed to provide you with compassionate guidance as you navigate the difficult decisions surrounding your pet's health and well-being. During this consultation, we will assess your pet's condition, discuss their comfort and quality of life, and offer personalized recommendations to ensure they receive the care they deserve in their golden years. Note, this fee does not apply if you have already made the decision to euthanize your pet and your pet is already an established patient.
Euthanasia with Home Burial ($150)
Our euthanasia with home burial service provides a peaceful and dignified way for your pet to pass, allowing you to lay them to rest in your own yard. We provide a pet coffin to ensure your beloved companion is handled with care and respect. However, it’s important to note that the euthanasia drugs used do not decompose quickly and can be harmful to other animals if the body is disturbed. For this reason, it’s crucial to bury your pet at an appropriate depth to prevent scavenging and ensure safety. If you need assistance with the burial process, we can connect you with professionals who are experienced in digging burial sites. Please don’t hesitate to reach out for guidance during this emotional time.
